Most people who volunteer for Habitat, obviously think of "pounding nails" and other building skills. These are greatly needed, but there is more to building a Habitat house than the building aspect. Right now there is a greater need for volunteers who will make a commitment to serving on one of the many support committees. Without these behind-the-scenes people, there would be no Habitat houses.

Churches, Youth Groups, Schools, Oganizations, Businesses and Neighbors that are seeking a service project are always welcome. Working with Habitat creates team-building skills, improves your community, and helps a family in need.
No experience is necessary. Habitat has guidelines for volunteers under the age of 18 years old. You may review the guidelines in our Youth Policy. Workdays are Wednesdays & Saturdays 8:30am to 3:30pm. Other hours and days may be arranged through our Volunteer Coordinator. Call our offce at (937) 332-3763. |
